Hi All,
I'm interested in knowing what kind of hardware you guys use when
connecting directly to the networks. Currently we are using a dual P3
1Ghz with 512MB memory and Raid 5. Now is this overkill?
Thanks,
Jarrod
I use a nokia and an Ericsson handset, i bought one of these USB phone
chargers and leave it connected full time with no Battery, Just remember if
your power down the machine you need to swich the phone on quite quickly.
What do you mean by burn? Explode, the way an Amsterdam woman's phone
another one. don't rely on %t.
You can get the date in your program using localtime() function or similar.

Kannel tries to make your life easy by providing the simplest possible
interface to send SMS. HTTP-GET, HTTP-POST, HTTP-POST-XML.
HOW? by hiding the CIMD2/SMPP/xyz client details within itself.
You can bypass the kannel layer to send SMSes by writing the client with in
your application but that
Most phones support one configuration at a time. However, you can use OTA to
set/reset the configs for the user's phone.

well these requirements depend on your traffic. btw, you may want to check
Kannel userGuide for the server configuration desired for kannel with
certain traffic.

Hi,
I am using Kannel to send 'availability checks' to my members.I send out maybe
50 texts and then wait for the members to text back Yes or No.
However, this fails when used with any sort of volume. The functions work fine
when I send one message, but with a large number, the system seems to

With this php code, you will end up with a file result.php in your homedir.

No, and that was the problem.
Why does kannel need the length - can't this be
calculated per UDH?
Thank you.

are you sure
you can see
WAP-259-WDP-20010614-aAPPENDIX-D
D.1 Binary Header FormatFor GSM SMS and GSM USSD
the WDP headers structure is defined using the User Data Header (UDH)
frameworkas defined in GSM 03.40:FIELD LENGTHLength of User Data
Header 1 octetInformation Element Identifier A 1
I have this spec, but my question was why kannel
does not ad the UDHL by itself, by taking the length of the UDH given to
it.
