kannel in windows not stable
Hi, I'm testing kannel in windows, download and install cygwin, compile gateway 1.4.3 and start kannel. Im using wavecom modem, usb, using driver usb-to-serial and got COM16 in windows and works in kannel cygwin using /dev/com16. Incoming seems to be ok, but outgoing after 1 or 2 messages bearerbox exited with last error printed: [5872] [-1] PANIC: gwlib/thread.c:142: mutex_lock_real: Managed to lock the mutex twice! (Called from gwlib/conn.c:1273:openssl_locking_function.) I can re-produce error by receive 1 SMS, and then send, after that it failed with same error. I'm new to this list, dunno if kannel in windows is even supported in this list, and perhaps this error could already be in the list. thanks, anton dev playSMS

Received dlr with sscanf warning and set always type=2
Hi, I found this URL: http://www.mail-archive.com/users@kannel.org/msg27152.html The dlr received is exactly like I received: http://old.nabble.com/file/p34450678/bearerlog.txt I also found that all dlr I received were set as type=2, its delivery failure. For example a dlr is received with stat:DELIVRD, I was hoping even when Kannel didn't recognize it because its format is different but with the "old-way" method Kannel recognized the stat:DELIVRD and pass dlr to type=1. I wonder if this issue has been fixed in daily snapshots or someone already provide a patch for this issue. Thanks, anton

Hi, I have tried to edit gw/smsc/smsc_smpp.c my self, to match with the dlr I received from certain provider, with no luck. Kannel still ignores the "stat" value. Received stat:DELIVRD but Kannel passed type=2 instead of type=1. Example DLR I received: "id:0160925202 submit date:1209190919 done date:1209190919 stat:DELIVRD" Please advice. smsc simulator
hello im new to this list does anyone ever use smsc simulator from http://opensmpp.logica.com to work with kannel? i've succed in sending message to that smsc simulator, but not in receiving message when i send message from smsc simulator, to simulate incoming sms situation, kannel did accepted messages, but with sender and receiver field blank im guessing that this cause kannel to drop the message and not passing it to sms-service group is that what happen? how to override this? i need to test sms-service group thx

i need to send 300 SMS simultaneously, receiver expected to receive it within 1 hour can i do it with kannel+GSM modem or kannel+cellphone? not kannel+SMSC connection, this i think would work just fine for 300 SMS

ive released simple php based application that can talk to kannel PlaySMS, http://playsms.sourceforge.net if i want to build more complex plugin for kannel what is the best way to: 1. send sms 2. retrieving delivery status 3. receive sms using kannel with http behaviour currently im using sendsms to send sms and a shell script combined with sms service options to receive sms thx regard, anton

kannel tester for playsms
playsms 0.7 released a while ago, http://playsms.sourceforge.net playsms is interface for sending/receiving sms via several sms gateway like gnokii or kannel, in kannel part, i've added some function to get delivery report via kannel's dlr-url, i've managed to get playsms returns status "fail" "pending" "sent" and "delivered", when i built it, i use smsc simulator (logica) for simulating kannel connected to SMSC, i never test it with real SMSC or gsm modem, no resource :) if someone has more time to test it, please do im looking forward to see the result thank you http://sleepless.ngoprek.org VoIP Rakyat: (0921) 20006

problem sending sms when starting kannel with wavecom modem
