F18 : Display resolution

I made a network fresh install on an old laptop. I installed LXDE but after installation I get Fedora running on a small window at centre of screen and only available screen resolution seems to be 640x480. Any idea how to solve?? Running intel driver -- Antonio Montagnani Skype : amontag52

I was given the following suggestion which has worked for other but not for me. Does this give anyone any ideas what I can try next? Gary I had the same issue with a Dell when I upgraded to Fedora 18, so I added 'i8042.reset i8042.nomux=1' (without quotes) at the end of the kernel boot options

Question about directory ownership

Hello Everyone, How do I add myself as co-owner of a directory? I set up a new apache server and need to transfer files to /var/www/html. The problem is, of course, I've denied root login but don't have sufficient privs to login and transfer files under my username. How can I fix this? Thanks,
