added 'i8042.reset i8042.nomux=1' (without quotes) at the end of the

I've run Xorg -configure but that made no difference
My Logitech cordless USB mouse work fine.
In KDE System Settings - Input Devices the touchpad tab is disabled.
Anyone got any ideas?
