Hello,
Even if the VM's wont get the IP's form OpenNebula the MAC address
must be generated. Internally MAC addresses are tied to Virtual
Network leases so a place in a Virtual Network is needed. Just add a
class B or C network and everything should work ok.
You can also manually generate the
You are right, also needed for ssh image movement from the node to the
frontend (stop action and saving persistent images).

You can use iSCSI/FC as those provide a device that can be attached to
the VMs but you will need to provide your own drivers to manage those
iSCSI/FC sources. These drivers are not provided in the standard
distribution of OpenNebula.

Looks like the IM drivers are having some problems getting the info
from the node, try copying xen.rb or kvm.rb (I don't know the
hypervisor you have) and execute it manually as oneadmin. You should
get some error message giving more info.
Anyway, It's more than a year I don't play with that
Use PORT=-1 so the port is generated for you.

Hi OpenNebula Friends,
Even using vmcontext I didn't picked up the real IP from VM.
Does exist a way to get a output of vmcontext.sh outside of the VM?

There are not plans to move xen or kvm deployment file generation to
drivers. What do you want to accomplish? Maybe a new deploy script can
be created that generates this from the xml deployment output for your
installation. The only problem is maintaining both de core and the
driver deployment
Wrong answer, the idea is to not provide PORT.

The problem is that you need to setup the default driver to use when
the user still does not exist.
To do this create a symlink in auth directory from ldap to default.
After this it should start working.
This info is not in the documentation, I'm adding it. :(

Dear friends,
The OpenNebula project is happy to announce the availability of the stable

I already solved this problem.
But, nevertheless, thanks.

Hello Vahe,
I fully agree with you.
I too need to use vnc to access my VMs, but the performance is weak.
I installed tightVNC on my VMs too, to access it via browser. But the
performance is worst! :/
If you don't need graphical iface, I advise you to use ssh to access your
VMs.
I hope it helps.

I am using following onehost command. :
