if you use windows vista and later,
just find properties orf your files and select previous versions, if
previous versions of your files was suitable for you!
openoffice in these years, had only some bug fixes, so i dont think
that major problem occur in this program because of stability and not
including new features and major changes.

sent, and I'm half way with the solution.
The only problem I need to solve is what happens when two bowlers have 
the same score.

Is there an AOO-Calc formula/multiple functions that can be used to solve the 
task at hand?   I have looked at the LOOKUP( ) and RANK( ) functions, but did 
not get very far.  I am hoping that there is a way to match the bowlers' name 
with the corresponding game score.

PDF forms controls

Hi,

I'm using Writer to create PDF forms and I'm having some trouble with the text 
boxes.

You can see here the document I'm working on [1] and [2]

1. I open the pdf document in Apple Safari. When the cursor is in the name form 
field, the word "emeritus" is highlighted in blue. I'd like for the word "name" 
to be highlighted.

When the user tabs out of the name field to the id field, the text "emeritus" 
is still in blue. I'd like the text "id" to be highlighted in blue instead.

I have not been able to find anything in the form control box that allows me to 
change this. How can I do this? (I could not find any answers in online forums, 
perhaps because I'm using the wrong terminology)

2. How can I automatically position the cursor in the name field when the 
document is opened? 

3. The behavior is different if I open the document in Apple Preview. Is it 
possible to have the same behavior regardless of which tool opens the document?

GIMP oder dem eher ungeliebten Photoshop
(Bild >frei transformieren oder neigen oder verzerren oder 
perspektivisch verzerren  sollte sowas doch machbar sein.

Hallo Alois,

nee, funktioniert nicht richtig. Ich habs mit dem Werkzeug "Perspektive"
probiert. Wenn ich die linke Kante nach rechts schiebe (und die rechte nach
links), werden die Figuren am Rande besser, aber die Personen in der Mitte
werden zu Streichölzern. Es müsste rein mathematisch die Möglichkeit geben,
das irgendwie "prozentual" zu regeln, also in der Mitte keine Veränderung,
dafür die Randbereiche proportional stärker stauchen.

Aber das ist nur so ein Wunsch.

In short, the Extensions site is hosted at SourceForge. SourceForge 
changed their datacenter last month; the transition was quite painful, 
as you can see in the list of tweets they posted here 
https://twitter.com/sfnet_ops - and some bugs are probably still being 
ironed out. SourceForge employees monitor this list (the dev list) so 
this is the correct way to report issues.


Currently, downloads of recent releases of the extensions (not only the 
English dictionary, even if it is the most prominent) are broken. Old 
releases still work, as anybody can verify here:

Hallo Timo,

selbstgemachter Zeitdruck bei einem etwas komplexen Thema ist immer ein 
Problem. -:)


Wenn die FN erst auf der nächsten Seite erscheint, kann es daran liegen, 
dass auf der Seite, wo die FN gesetzt ist, kein Platz mehr für den 
FN-Text ist. In dem Fall werden FNtexte von OO auch automatisch 
getrennt: Der Anfang auf Seite X, die Fortsetzung auf Folgeseite Y; auch 
weitere FN, die nicht mehr auf eine Seute passen, werden geschoben.


Das ist zwar unschön, bei wiss. Arbeiten relativ häufig. Ändern läßt 
sich das nur, wenn zB der Absatz (oder einige Zeilen daraus) unmittelbar 
über dem FN-Bereich auf die nächste Seite verschoben wird


Es kann auch daran liegen, dass du die Seitenformatierung 
(rechts/links), was die FN angeht, falsch eingestellt hast und 
beispielsweise für die rechte Seite keine FN zugelassen hast; also 
findest du sie auf der folgenden linken Seite.  Fußnoten (FN)  können 
auf dem Format > Seite > Fußnote formatiert werden. Hier wird zwischen 
rechter und linker Seite unterschieden und wie "hoch" (platzmäßig - bis 
zu einer ganzen Seite oder nach Bedarf ) die FN sein können.


Vielleicht hast du "nur" hier die Höheneinstellung zu gering gewählt und 
die Änderung auf "Höhe maximal wie Seite" reícht für die Korrektur 
insgesamt aus, wenn du nur die Standardseite verwendet hast.

Sind die Fußnoten sehr umfangreich? Wenn du dann gleichzeitig die Höhe 
des Fußnotenbereichs beschränkt hast, dann passt es nicht.


Guck mal in der Seiten-Formatvorlage im Register "Fußnote" was dort bei 
"Fußnotenbereich" eingestellt ist.
