Dear Open Office people,
My mistake here.
It seems that when I installed the update the list of "recent" documents
was wiped.
It seems further that because the program no longer recognised any
"recent" documents it also failed to show the heading "recent" on the
pop up menu.
Since using
I wonder whether you actually have the same problem I had.
"Recent Documents" could be stored anywhere - and if you go the the
folder(s) I'll bet they are still there.
The problem is that OO is not very clever at saving the list of "recent
documents".
If you open OO first then you may find them

Jada was in "Justified" mode ie left and right.
She wanted to be in Justified Left mode.

This is extremely difficult to do effectively as it is so easy to find
workarounds.
The best way would probably to save each page as an image rather than
