Hi,
I have 2 hypervisors running on 2 usb 3.0 sticks and the a swap daemon running
on a NFS share export.
The daemon only creates swap space when needed, so I have not used the swap
partition during the os install on the usbs.
Each physical server has 32gb of ram.
So far i did not
Hi,
If I have a VM that has run out of disk space, how can I increase the
space in best way? One way is to add a second bigger disk to the WM
and then use dd or similar to copy. But is it possible to stretch the
original disk inside or outside oVirt and get oVirt to know the bigger
size?

Hi Ricky,
In order to give you a detailed answer I need additional details regarding the
disk:
- Is the disk image composed as a chain of volumes or just a base volume?
(if it's a chain it will be more complicated, you might want to collapse the
chain first to make it easier).
- Is the disk

Hi,
as you know Solaris (Open Indiana) has qemu-kvm although they don't use
libvirt (in fact libvirt tighted to much to Linux specifics).
If vdsm whould interact with qemu-kvm without libvirt it would open a
way to have Solaris hosts in ovirt-engine.
libvirt is another abstraction after vdsm

Hi Gianluca,
You could try the following:
- Create new datacenter and cluster
- Set VLAN for ovirtmgmt network in new DC
- Delete localhost from Default cluster
- Configure VLAN tagging on host manually
- Join localhost to new cluster using oVirt Admin Portal
Before joining localhost to the new

Dear Shu,
Exactly what I was saying, in that section we can only change in the

Therefore I see exactly no field for additional mount options.

Sorry, was not seeing these. I am afraid you can not append other

So, first of all, you should know that resizing a disk is not yet supported in
oVirt.
If you decide that you must use it anyway, you should know in advance that it's
not recommended,
and that your data is at risk when you perform these kind of actions.
There are several ways to perform this.
my boss is super concerned about this that he found on the page:

MUST: No blockers on the lower level components - libvirt,
lvm,device-mapper,qemu-kvm, Jboss, postgres, iscsi-initiator
can someone tell me what this is supposed to be telling me?
Hi Frank,
It looks like the same issue as in the bug,
the bug also references a Change-Id for a fix:

and you can also access this patch in the following link:
