Hello I have a ovirt 4.1.5.2-1 ovirt cluster with a ceph luminous & openstack ocata cinder. I can create / remove / attach cinder disks with ovirt but when i attach a disk to a VM, the VM stay in "starting mode" (double up arrow grey) and never goes up, ovirt try every available

Neil, It seems that your engine certificate(s) is/are not ok. I would suggest to enable ssl debug in the engine by: - add '-Djavax.net.debug=all' to ovirt-engine.py file here [1]. - restart your engine - check your server.log and check what is the issue. Hopefully we will be able to understand

Is it just me just finds strange the way oVirt/RHEV does backup ? At the present you have to snapshot the VM (fine by that), but them you have to clone AND export it to an Export Domain, then delete the cloned VM. That means three copies of the same VM somewhere. Wouldn't it be more logical

Hi, given the fact that a current yum update will bring Centos 7.4 and qemu 2.9 to the nodes I wonder if a gluster update thorugh Ovirt repos is already close to release? Not only is 3.8 EOL but also I like to minimize the update steps to a new stable package level. Best regards. Markus
