[ovirt-users] Memory usage is inaccurate on ovirt web manager.
Hi buddy,I encoutered a issue: Enviroment:ovirt 3.5,node2+node3+engine,node2 and node3 are in the same cluster. node2:64GB memory node3:64GB memory If I try to start 25 VMs on node2,node2's Memory usage is almost up to 80% But if I start 25 VMs on node3,node3's Memory usage is normal,about 70% VMs are all the same. [ovirt-users] Migrate datacenter with hosts and VM managed from engine no1 to engine no2
Hello, we have the current setup. => 1 datacenter on site A with 1 cluster which is compose of 3 hosts and a self-hosted engine => 1 datacenter on site B (let's call this TATA) with 1 cluster compose of 3 hosts which is using glusterfs. This datacenter is managed by the self-hosted engine on site A We want to create on site B another datacenter with 1 cluster and another self-hosted engine then disengage datacenter TATA from self-hosted engine on site A. after that, we want to import all the ressource on the self-hosted engine on site B Is it possible to do this without loosing VM on glusterfs ? Off course VM will be shutdown during the operation. I mean, when a host is added on a new datacenter, ovirt will install package if necessary. Is there any way that ovirt manager erase actual configuration ? Hi, Can you restart the self-heal daemon by doing a `gluster volume start bgl-vms-gfs force` and then launch the heal again? If you are seeing different entries and counts each time you run heal info, there is likely a network issue (disconnect) between the (gluster fuse?) mount and the bricks of the volume leading to pending heals. Also, there was a bug in arbiter volumes[1] that got fixed in glusterfs 3.12.15. It can cause VMs to pause when you reboot the arbiter node, so it is recommended to upgrade to this gluster version. We don't need any more info for now, the info in the email is sufficient.
If it is not possible to edit the disks, the only workaround is to modify the
DB directly:

As you see here, both quota IDs are default IDs and therefore can't be on the
same DC or storage domain.
As soon I enable quota on that DC, new disks created by VM creation via
template, will get the correct quota ID.
The problem with wrong IDs is, that you can't edit the disks anymore!
I can repeat that error every time and I can give all the information you need
to debug this. Pleas inform me, what data do you need...

improve that.
I wanted to update you that I have update the OpenShift version to install to
3.11 instead of 3.9,
so that it will fit to the OpenShift latest version and this should simplify
the support for the installation by the OpenShift team.
It is available in the latest oVirt nightly and documentation is up to date
https://ovirt.org/documentation/metrics-install-guide/metrics-install-guide/
Also, I want to let you know that in the next release we plan to add support
for an all-in-one installation that will create the vm/s for you and install
OpenShift on them.
This should simplify immensely the process of setting up the oVirt metrics
store.
I'll contact the OpenShift team for help about your issue as well, But you may
want to install version 3.11 instead.
Please let me know if decide you want to try installing the latest version.

Anybody successfully installed it? I’m trying that right now with the updated
manual and have some difficulties:
/usr/share/ovirt-engine-metrics/setup/ansible/configure_ovirt_machines_for_metrics.sh

created „ansible-inventory-origin-39-aio“ (instead of 311) on the metrics-store
VM (the playbook does not run with ansible 3.11 and 3.9 playbook).
I edited manually the file and also had to add
localhost storage=True openshift_node_labels="{'region': 'infra'}"
openshift_schedulable=True
in [nodes, masters, etcd] because of following error
