Greetings.
In terms of teaching our students how to create and configure an oVirt
infrastructure, we're planning to provide each of them a VM that will act
as a Manager server, which has no issues so far. The problem is that we
don't have enough physical machines to use as virtualization servers

Hello.
I'm trying to remove a MAC Pool that seems to be assigned to a cluster and
I can't. Opening Configure - MAC Address pools and chosing the MAC Pool to
remove causes this warning:

Hello Amy.
We had the same needs back in July as we have some classrooms with thin
clients and although we don't just offer the oVirt service we wanted
something simple so users don't need to open a browser and just handle
their machines in a simple way, so I found this project [1] that works

As how I see it, lots of things have changed, that involves redoing a lot
of code... Is it ok to use ovirt-engine-sdk-python 3.6.* against ovirt 4.0?
If so, what are the requisites?
Thanks

Is there some document explaining changes between Python SDK versions 3.6
and 4.0? I just upgraded to package version 4.0 and I'm unable to find even
the API object...
Thanks

Hi,
I'm trying to de-obfuscate an uncaught exception error and I've reached
this page for instructions:

However, images are broken and its kind of difficult to follow instructions
without seeing them.
Could you please guys fix it?

Greetings,
We have several auth backends (LDAP, AD...), and we'd like to establish de
default one to one of them. 'internal' seems to be the default now.
Is there a way to override the default backend on the login page?
This is ovirt 4.0.2
Thanks

Why not just assign the host a publicly accessible IP address and restrict
SSH by firewall so only the engine (and possibly you) can access through
SSH?

Hello Chris,
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Dan meant target's IPs. So if you have
a SAN backend with two IP addresses, you first discover LUNs from first IP
address, then discover LUNs from the second IP address, and so on... once
you have them all, you just check them and click on "OK" so t

Hello,
I want to add an iSCSI based storage domain. For that I add a domain on the
Storage tab with one of the IPs (say 10.10.10.1), but for failover purposes
I'd like to use multipath to add a failover IP so if the first one fails,
LUNs can be reached via the second (say 10.10.10.2).
How can thi

Once finished we will publish the source code, so If you consider this
useful I can notify you if interested.

Greetings,
Is there some official oVirt section where you list unofficial
oVirt-related projects? If so, what is the process for a new unofficial
project to get listed there?
If not, I think it might be a good idea to provide a minimal support by
listing them.
Thank you.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask about python sdk. If not,
please suggest where should I address this question.

Greetings
How can I track asynchronous tasks with python sdk? For instance, I want to
copy a disk so I use:
dcdisk = api.disks.get(id='...')
act = params.Action(storage_domain=api.storagedomains.get(name='...'))
action = dcdisk.copy(act)
I get a params.Action object. Now how can I know
