Hi,
I would go with the appliance given.
You can run it in VMWare, Xenserver or Virtualbox.
There should be everything installed. Though,
there is no documentation on how to configure this
to your needs. For example, it involves creating
a new ldap root etc.
Cheers,
Matt

Hi,
you can also do this completely off Sogo with IMAP.
IMAP has a nice feature called shared folders. Here you can specify
acounts that
will share mail folders (and even control reading status separately). Or
you create
one central sieve script in imap server which will filter and divert
mails
Hi Ron,
I would not not start the DB fight here ;-)
Just google for mysql versus postgres. You will be offered lots of
information.
The decision to use postgresql is a wise one as this is a very mature,
free, transactional databse.
The main points will be:
1. It is really free and open source.
Hi,
to be a bit more honest.
I think you will find some differences in SQL and probably have to adapt
the DB-Model (regarding Types).
I am not sure if Sogo uses a persistance framework layer such that a DB
migration would be quite easy.
If not then general documentation (google) about migrating
this sounds really easy ;-)

I did it last month, it works fine.

Hi Jonas,
you can also always use server side sieving. We use this to build client
independent rules.
We fetch all meail from extern via fetchmail and push them into the
central cyrus imap server.
There they get automatically filtered by sieve.

Matt

accounts (like private, work,...).
Can i use the filters with preserving the separation in different accounts?
Btw: is fetchmail anyhow integrated in sogo or would i have to configure this
seperately?

Jonas

you should use the master password as TB stores all passwords in

hmm, interesting. Anyway, in Germany it would not be allowed to transfer

Urgently needed is rfc5465 aka IMAP notify.
This is to reduce resource consumption with TCP connectiosn
when using imap folders heavily.

This is because in this release of ZEG there is also Samba4 installed.

How to fix?
