I did just a quick update of our sogo test server.
After restarting the system, the list of mailfolders is empty
and in the sogo.log I see this message:
localhost - - [13/Feb/2012:19:33:03 GMT] GET

Same problem on Ubuntu 11.04
Tried the patch and got that:
root@solipym:~# patch js+escaping.diff
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file WebServerResources/JavascriptAPIExtensions.js
Hunk #1 FAILED at 71.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file
this solved the problem for me too
