[SOGo] openSuSE Leap
Hi guys, I am trying to make SOGo to work on Leap. I am planning afterwards to create a documentation that I can share with everyone who is interested to do the same. I have installed the SOGo RPM packages that come from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/SOGo:/Test/openSUSE_Leap_42.1/ Currently I am stuck to the fact that /etc/sogo/sogo.conf does not exist (not even the folder). Of course i could create it, but i would be more interested to find if SOGo is going to read from there, or it is expected to read from somewhere else. Do you know which file should I look in the SOGo installation that mentions where is expecting the sogo.conf file to be? Thanks! (I would suggest a `yum clean all` first, to ensure local copies of packages fetched pre-signatures are not playing tricks on you.) -- Patrice Levesque pleves...@inverse.ca :: +1.514.447.4918 *140 :: http://inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (http://sogo.nu) and PacketFence (http://packetfence.org) signature.asc Description: Digital signature
Re: [SOGo] User alias on calendar module
Pablo, Am 01.07.2016 um 13:41 Uhr schrieb Pablo Abelenda (pabele...@igalia.com): We are trying SOGo as a calendar solution so the web mail module is disabled. A lot of the users manage all the appointments and tasks using Thunderbird/Icedove. with the SOGo Add-ons I assume!? Using this tools, they are allowed to invite people using the canonical name but also the aliases. The thing is that, if they use the alias, the appointments are not created, for obvious reasons. I just tested something. An internal user is some.u...@example.com, which shows free/busy. If I create a contact in my personal address book with name "nickname" and the mail address some.u...@example.com, I can invite the nickname with autocomplete just fine and the free/busy is fetched by the correct mail address. So the invitation will be just fine, I suppose. Is this what you want? If you want nickn...@example.com as alternative mail address for some user, I think you have to store it in you user source too. Then MailFieldNames is your friend. Or it is some descriptive name of you user? Then use SearchFieldNames.
