Re: [SOGo] copying contacts to shared address book

2013-07-11 Thread Silver Salonen
Hi.

1) No, I don't get any errors
2) Tried both
3) Yes, tried both - if I select Copy/Move to there are only regular address
books in there, ie. my personal and Suggested Contacts (moving between these
two works fine). If I drag contact(s) between address books, the regular
address book gets highlighted, but Shared Addresses does not, so
moving/copying anything in there looks like it's just disabled.
4) No, I'm talking about shared contacts that is not under any particular user
5) As answer to 4) is no, this is 'no' as well
6) 2.0.6

Re: [SOGo] copying contacts to shared address book

2013-07-11 Thread Christian Naumer
I think you problem is that you are trying to copy into an LDAP-address
book which you can not edit by default. See the documentation:

modifiers:
a list (array) of usernames that are authorized to perform
modifications to the address book defined by this LDAP
source.

I think the superusers can do this by default.

Hope this helps.

 Silver,

I wish I knew why this is not working for you. I do not have LDAP address
books so i can test. My regular address books (in database) that are shared
can be copied from and copied into.

I do what to thank you for pointing out the shit + drag and drop. I had no
idea that functionality was there. I hope you can figure out your problem soon.

Re: [SOGo] copying contacts to shared address book

2013-07-10 Thread Mark Madere
Is that documented behavior for SOGo? I have never heard of that before.

In any case you need to try to copy the records using a different method than
you have used before. This will help you determine if this is ui problem or a
permissions problem. So please right click a record or otherwise make the
context menu appear, the select copy, then choose a destination.

After you do that please tell me if it worked.
