I am trying to upgrade from 2.4 to 2.5.1
Usually i export my workspace as a xar and then recreate everything by
refreshing the mysql and tomcat installation. I do also get an export dump
of the database for backup.
I use the xar file to re-import the workspace back after

What happens to any macros or stylesheets that i made changes to? Are these
not stored as static files in the $WEBAPPS/xwiki folder?
Are there any files that are stored in the webapps/xwiki folder that need to
be backed up as well? Or is backing the database sufficient for a full
restore?

I have not made any changes via the filesystems. All changes i have made are
via the xwiki itself. As an example, i have edited and updated the
shortcuts and quick links panels.

I'm running my Xwiki as an information management Intranet alongside a
networked drive that holds hundreds of documents. Based off the TODO
tutorial, I made a system of inputting these documents as objects on
