[xwiki-users] XWiki 5.2 Subwikis Wiki Template Error number 50035 in 5
Hello, since a while I try to check out the possibilities of Xwiki. First I installed a 5.1 over the standard Debian packages. My most problems started when I try to install multiple wikis or subwikis. As I wrote 5.2 will have it I decided not to wast to much time to try it with 5.1 Now 5.2 is finally released I set up again a Debian7.1 machine and install XWiki over the standard debian package xwiki-enterprise-tomcat7-mysql. After I while I found out that I need to create templates first. So I click on the link under Wiki that brings me to the template install. As soon as I click on install template I get the following two error messages. Error installing wiki template. Error number 50035 in 5: Exception in plugin [com.xpn.xwiki.plugin.wikimanager.WikiManagerPlugin]: Wiki [workspacetemplate] database update failed Wiki template features can not be installed without the wiki base template being installed first. I try to find something on google but the only result I found is that it is a right problem on MySQL. Thanks to clemens answer I was able to get my xwiki nearly like I want it. At the moment I'm struggling regarding the search. Here what I want to do and what I did already. I want a wiki where I need to grant a user or group access to a Space/Page/subwiki. I removed all access rights from the groups and anonymous user. So nobody can see anything. As Clemens wrote I gave anonymous user and registered users access to Dashboard Main.Welcome and Default skin. But as soon as I want to search I get the error message ...Current user [XWiki.XWikiGuest] doesn't have view rights on document [xwiki:XWiki.SearchCode]... As long as I didn't gave anonymous view rights to space xwiki. My problem is that than they get also access to all global pages etc. I also try to gave anonymous users access only to the search page but this doesn't work. Have anyone a idea what I can try? [xwiki-users] Syntax Guide Page doesn't work because of 'Failed to execute the [velocity] macro'
Hello together, I don't know why, but since I upgraded to 6.0 (6.0.1) I cannot launch the Syntax Guide (XWiki.XWikiSyntax). I just get an Failed to execute the [velocity] macro error and that's it. I compare both pages and for me they are the same, same content, same objects, same classes. Where can I look or test whre this problem is coming from? Hello Marius, thanks for your fast answer. I tried it but it still doesn't work. I also tried to delete some pages as the where not replaced by the import. For test I setup a new machine with a vanilla xwiki 6.0.1 and import the content from the other system. There it is working, with just one problem. The Guide show all Headlines twice. This happen also on a complete other virgin system as soon as I active the multilingual feature...
