I created a docx file with Android Office Suite Pro, and while MS Office
2010 can open it, LO cannot.
Ideas?

The best idea is to create an odt document and tell us if there any errors
(Doc, Xls, Ppt).

I was able to extract the files using an old version of WinZip.
Do we know anything about how LO processes DOCX files? I suspect that
when it opens the file, it scans the first N bytes looking for somekind
of signature that it is not finding in the file created by Mobi OfficeSuite.

When one attempts to open a file that LO Writer does not recognize, it
pops up a menu and asks you to choose one.
Menu items are in random order. It would be nice if it were in
alphabetical order, wouldn't it?

Is there a reference somewhere that specifies what has to be in an ODF
file to be recognized as one of the ODF types?
I'm asking because I have a DOCX file created by an app on my phone that
opens in MS Office, but is not recognized by LO.
