I need help.
I have cluster with 3 nodes oVirt 4.4.10 and common ISCSI storage, i have
hosted engine installed on it.
I wont change legacy to ovs switch mode, using instruction below:
- Install first host and VM using "hosted-engine --deploy"
- In the Engine UI, change Cluster

It actually turned out to be remnants of a bad engine setup, once I cleared it
up I got past that.
Now I am at the point where I upgraded my engine to 4.5 as my latest working
backup was a 4.5 engine. Reason I didnt deploy the engine with the backup was
because node is on 4.4 and engine was
I was actually able to bypass this issue by deleting the sql dir for data and
engine(well tarballing incase it was a bad move) and restoring and then setting
up engine.
Finally after few days of hard work its up, now my issue is hosts not
responding although they are up.
This is the error one
I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed yet. This bug causes the engine setup
on new node 4.5 installs to fail. Had I not found this post, I wouldn't
have figured out what was going on during the engine setup process. This
really needs to be fixed.

Gluster virt volume group has 2 options needed for
oVirt:storage.owner-uid=36storage.owner-gid=36Check you have them, as it seems
that the virt group (from GlusterFS package) is now missing them. /Maybe a bug
???/
I would simply chown the file(s) to 36:36 from the gluster mount and try again.

Hi Strahil,
I have the same issue. I was running postgresql-jdbc version 42.2.14 then I
downgraded to version 42.2.3 and I have the same problem. Is there any specific
version I must use?

If network is out of sync, check in the UI the network settings for the
host.Usually all network changes should be done in the UI /or via the API/.

The reason I mentioned the gluster install was because I had to have the
downgrade in place to get to that stage of the deployment in the UI based
setup process.It's only when I open the engine Web UI that it's
behaving differently.

It is a fresh install of ovirt-engine 4.4 running a fresh Centos Stream 8 VM.
The problem is that the GUI isn't working I'm getting the following error:
