This aspect has been improved in beta 2 and we'll figure out other possible
improvements, especially with the toolbars.

Totally agree. I'm not satisfied with the current theme.

Can you give a precise example?

I agree. They should be more accessible.

There're tooltips on most icon buttons. They'll probably become annoying once
you get familiar with the icons.

We'll try to replace the "+" by an icon representing an event or a task
depending on the active tab.

My suggestion above should help.

I just committed an initial implementation. It was planned and mentioned in the
beta 3 announce.

I don't understand your comment.

It should not be the case. I'll double-check.

The three dots is a button to display a menu with options.

It allows to add tags (labels) to a message. I agree that the UI/UX needs more
reflexion.

Some feedbacks

Generaly :

1/ As already say, too much waste space, with a classic laptop it's hard
  to use

  2/ IMHO lack of contrast.

3/ The fact the text is in the same color as the icon make no easy to
  find which can be click.
.
4/ The icon to allow to change the application (agendas, mail, address book)
is hard to find.

5/ Need a message small popup when the pointer is on those icons, because
  some are hard to understand.

Agendas :

1/ The « add » icon (in agendas) is not very easy to find.

2/ Because this add icon is use on both « Event » and « Task » make it
  very confusing.

3/ It's not easy to know if it's Events tab or Task tab who is in focus
  (same color/background)

4/ Cannot add/change/move a event by drag (BIG problem)

5/ it's not easy to find the « three vertical dots » is the configuration
button for each calendar, more seam something who cannot be display
because. And when you put a long name for a calendar, the « three dots
  » disappear.

Mail:

Almost same problems in agendas +

6/ Don't know what those three dots does

7/ It's very unclear what the « add tag » does.

Hope that's help.

2015-10-25 Thread Christian Naumer
I have question regarding v3. What are the plans in using the v2 and v3
interfaces in parallel? I like the new interface a lot on tablets and
smartphones but on a large screen it does waste some space.

Then as a small bug report in v3 some buttons (vertical dots on calendars and
mail folders) do not work with Firefox. They do work with chrome.

As Patrick Rauter also noticed, there're some issues with clicking on
"secondary" buttons in lists while using Firefox. Hopefully the Angular
Material team will address those issues (developers seem to limit their tests
to Chrome most of the time), otherwise will found alternatives to have the
correct behaviour on all evergreen browsers.

Hi Peter, Thanks for the reply. :)

I know there's a 'Reply to All' button hidden in the last icon, i just want
to move it out of the icon and place it beside the 'Reply to Sender Only'.
It's used more frequently (for me) than the 'Reply to Sender Only'.

I really wish SOGo developers could make this small change, it will be more
productive (with less clicks).

Hi Zhang,

there is already an "reply to all" included; just click the last icon
with the three dots and choose "reply all". But maybe it would be easier
for casual users if that icon would be just beside the "reply to sender"
button as this is used quite often...

Thank you for the great work.

By the way, could you please add a 'Reply to all' button beside the 'Reply to
Sender Only' when viewing a message?
