Hi,
my name is Diego and I am a (young) XWiki administrator.
Upgrading from version 0.9.840 to the latest stable version (1.2.2) and
using the Import/Export method to fill data in the new wiki, I observed
this problem: if a page is not under the space "XWiki" ( i.e., the
page's URL is not like "...
Slash in the actual name is not such a good idea - xwiki assumes you're trying
to create a new space, and acts accordingly.
For me, the updateName() script catches both / and \ though, among other
"problem" characters (or is that something I've changed on mine)?

Hi,
Has anyone already tried using Toucan 1.0 with XE 1.3M2?
Since we're going to release Toucan 1.1 today or tomorrow and XE
1.3RC1 today or tomorrow it would be great to get some feedback ASAP
if anything is not working as expected with the Toucan skin.
Thanks
-Vincent

Trying to answer to Vincent about Toucan use I am facing a problem while
updating a 1.3M1 to 1.3M2 in my test box.
Here the error:
javax.servlet.ServletException: com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException: Error
number 3 in 0: Could not initialize main XWiki context
Wrapped Exception: Error number 3201 in 3
Undeletable attachments give some work to the admin, problems of attachments
and images names are easily workaround by asking users not to use special
characters in names ... While trimming spaces impacts all users and anyway you
have to ask them to take care of resulting name of their attachm
Hi,
Is there any way to have an automatic numbering of headings and
sub-headings in every pages of a wiki ?
When I create a page with headings and sub-headings, I obtain :
Heading 1
Heading 2
Heading 2
Heading 1
and I would have that result :
1 Heading 1
1.1 Heading 2
1.2 Heading 2
2 Heading 1...
hi,
the numbering will only appear if you are logged in as a user
with "enough" user rights if you have admin rights the numbering
will work as expected :)
i've not figured out which right is responsible for the numbering
once posted a question but never got an answer :)

Hi,
I've looked at the source code and I've come up with this:

Please, could you think of a solution for applying numbered sections to
a given space? Thanks!

know the right way to use. Please give me an example using these

Sorry for my keep asking but I really don't know what the value of argument
"fieldName" in "addAttachments(fieldName)" is.
Is it related to the value of file input ??

Hi XWiki users and developers !

There is a vote which will allow to get another few minutes of radio

Good to know our votes really count. When I voted for Ludovic 3 hours ago,
it is 45% vs 55%.

I wish I just could install the standalone xwiki but it is required in
the environment that we are having to use MSSQL...
But I can't get it working... I also tried to get it working by using

Who can explain me where I exactly need to copy the files to

Hi,
Is there a way to move a page or number of pages from one space to
another with all references updated?
In my experimental XWiki installation I have created number of pages
in different spaces.
Now, I intend to structure the site a little different and I would like
to move a number of p

What's wrong is that you have used the #toc macro at the same time...
This macro uses the sames context variables and since you've called it
with "" (which is equivalent to using "false" for section numbering)
it has removed the section numbering.
