Hi Caleb,
Ok I've played with it, very cool! :)
Some next steps:
* Make it a real extension installable with the Extension Manager:
** Move the project to xwiki-contrib and release a first 1.0 version of the JAR
and XAR in the xwiki maven repo for contrib
Slightly later:
* Add an Extension Poi
Hi Caleb,
This is great progress ! Way to go.
Some improvements, sorted by priority from my POV:
- Support real-time editing on an object Textarea field
- The current textarea does not allow to do a select All of the text
- XEM compatibility either as an extension for the global wiki, or as a
te
Also a screenshot on the extension page, so that we can advertise it on
twitter :)

Hi again,
There is a serious bug which makes the wysiwyg editor fail because the Rt
code loads on wysiwyg.
With the code in the JS Extension
var isRealtimeMode = function() {
return (window.location.hash == '#RealTime');
};
#if ("$!request.lazy" != "true")
if (isRealtimeMode()) {
R
I just reproduced it on extensions.xwiki.org actually, looking at it.

Hi, All!
XEM has brilliant opportunity to split knowledgebase into workspaces. But,
there is a "bug" in a multiwiki crosslinks.
One page has link to another in relative format: wiki:Space.Page.
Inside the same wiki on page ranaming, all links to this page are verified and
fixed to the new pag

Hi again,
In fact I was missing the application manager jar ...
Now during restart and first GET of Main/WebHome, I get the following
(result of a grep from the logs) :
Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: connection timed out to
http://nexus.xwiki.org/nexus/content/groups/public/javax/jcr/jcr/

You just picked a bad timing, should be OK now.
But note that there is a less visible bug after you installed the
repository with EM, see http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-8329 for
details.

The last version on extensions.xwiki.org is 4.2 now so you should not
get an error about 4.1.4.

Forget that actually the 404 on extensions.xwiki.org is perfectly normal indeed.
Now I don't see why you get an error from nexus repository, I
installed the same extension on xwiki.org 1h ago.

Could there be a distinct way of specifying network proxy depending on
extension repository (nexus/aether or xwiki) ?
I've set it both as http_proxy env variable and in JAVA_OPTS... From
the logs it's clear that it goes through proxy for connections to
xwiki repo, for nexus I don't know.
2012/10/1
Well both are HTTP repositories so it should be exactly the same thing.
Maybe there is a bug in AETHER that does not really go through the
standard proxy.
Trying to look at how they connect to HTTP.

Found and fixed, thanks for reporting it.
I didn't notice that it was being pulled in because the WYSIWYG worked on
chromium despite it.
Thanks,
Caleb
