Hi,
I have just installed vpopmail 4.9.8.1I am using sqwebmail as
MUAI am able to send mails but I am not able to receive any mail
I am not able to receive mail even sent to self on the same server
All mails are appearing in queue in Qmail Queue
Can somebody help me how to solve this
Good Morning:
Yes, it is possible, i did it myself.
To set a quota per e-mail you have to create a file called databytes in
/var/qmail/control and put the number (in bytes) of the syze of the e-mail.
So any e-mail bigger than this syze will be bounced.
But does anybody knows, i'm trying to
my-machine.com is a server that host several virtualdomains, one of these
is domain.com
But if a [EMAIL PROTECTED] make :
telnet domain.com 110
+OK [EMAIL PROTECTED]
this is the response.
Can i eliminate my-machine.com???
Yeah...and have +OK [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead.

Are you using username%domain.com or [EMAIL PROTECTED] IMAP only seems
to handle the [EMAIL PROTECTED] option. Give that a shot and see if ti
works for ya.

Tren.

This is how I compiled Courier.

No, you don't need --with-authvchkpw. It automatically gets added as an
authentication type if the configure script detects the presence of the
vpopmail user.

It looks like the problem is with glibc 2.2.
I managed to regain authentification through vpopmail on the SuSE 7.1
installation.
By compiling vpopmail on a SuSE 7.0 (glibc 2.1) machine, and make a ln -s
/var/lib/mysql.sock /tmp/mysql.sock (Suse has moved the data dir. and

Please let me know what info i have to post. how about the 2xxKB core file?
the following is several lines of the "current" log file. note the domain

I think it's core dump during delivery.

Sorry, that didnt change anything, but thank you. I was checking my logs

ugg, wait, you need to install that cmd5checkpw thinggy, or dont you, I
thought u didnt have to if u had vpopmail
The vpasswd.cdb and the permission of the directory is correct. i'm sure.
but i follow what Brian said, check the .qmail-default file, the default
catch all account are no longer exist. so i set it to no catch all account.
and i remove the core file. if it don't coredump again. i tink it will
Nope, I just dont get it, if the patch was added, shouldnt it even give me an
error, I mean I know its patched or that at least something happend, because
the qmail-smtpd file is bigger then before. I just think I would at least get
an error
Yep I had to delete all accounts and readd them again.
I believe it was a permissions thing.
Thanks.
For those that don't know the command.
If you want mail working, do this.. even though it is a pain.
