I doubt this is a MySQL problem. We are using MySQL in several environments, including vpopmail. My guess is I don't have as many users as you, since I set my pop3 concurency at 30 with no problems. Are you running qmail-scanner or spamassassin? These added quite a bit of load to my mail server

I ahve tried this with 4.8.7 as well as 4.9 and can't seem to get it to work. I want to enable BOTH mysql and cdb authentication so I can gradually move my domains over from cdb to mysql. Can this be done? If you say yes, then what do I need to do? I only ask this question as I have tried this
