Problem is the fact that the latest versions of vpopmail set the
~vpopmail/lib directory as 0711. Change the perms of the directory to
0755 and also the libvpopmail.a file to 0644. _ONLY_ keep this done for

old perms.

I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that the oracle isn't working right
now in vpopmail 5. Maybe try going back to vpopmail 4.9.10 or working on
the module in vpopmail 5 and see if you can fix it.

Tren

Hi Ken;
Just forwarding this to you. What is the status of the oracle module? I
know it's not functional under 5.0 but is it functional under 4.9.10?
Regards,
Tren.

Please give more details. What version of qmailadmin are you using? What
errors are you getting? Please remember that vpopmail 5 requires qmailadmin
0.87 (get from www.shupp.org) and sqwebmail 3.1.0. If you want to use
vpopmail 4.9.10, use qmailadmin 0.45 and sqwebmail 2.x.x. If you are
of the application compiles fine
if I take the -lz out.
What is -lz and how can I make this work?
I'm running Debian.
Linux 2.2.17 #1 Sat Sep 9 12:42:22 EST 2000 i686
With Mysql 3.23.36

I beg to differ about the sqwebmail list. I've gotten spam from it in the
past. Also, this discussion has been done before. When inter7 setup the
list, it wasn't done with that option. When inter7 has time I'm sure
they'll recreate the list with the appropriate options, but I'm guessing
it's
I'm told it's ezmlm-make -+u directory (it's in a previous post...hrm...)
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong =)
Thanks,
Tren.

Where are you getting the idea that ~vpopmail/Maildir gets moved into
any new user creation? To my knowledge, this feature does not exist

Hi;
MySQL doesn't replace vpopmail, it adds to the functionality of it. It
is just a different backend for storing user and domain information.

Why? If you use MySQL for the backend just use the MyODBC module. It's
free.

Hi,
Has
Did you patch your pop3 server to handle Maildir++ style quotas? If not
do that as that's the real solution to your problem. Read the
README.quotas in the vpopmail distribution for the answer to your
question.
