No, not really... only /usr/sbin/sendmail and /usr/lib/sendmail both
symlinks to qmail binary replacement.

sorry, forget about it. vpopmail connects to mysql using a socket.
check if vpopmail is accessing mysql through a tcp socket and that mysql
is listening on a tcp socket aswell.
IIRC, on Debian, mysql's default is UNIX socket only.

I have an account on a vpopmail domain, whose only purpose is to forward
mail to another server. That user has the following .qmail file:

IIRC there must be two files lib_deps and inc_deps in that directory. I
remember having that problem and I think that's how I solved it, by
copying those files from the vpopmail source dir to ~vpopmail/etc dir.
