I know you don't think that this is a DNS problem. I suggest that you go over your DNS with a fine tooth comb and if you don't see anything wrong with it... Get a second opinion. We had this same problem and it turned out to be the reverse DNS lookup entries that were incorrect. The IP numbers w

I just tested it again and timed it. 10 seconds until I get the banner from the time I connect and issue the EHLO command. That's unacceptable, it should be nearly instant. It's not like this is a slow box or anything (dual xeon box, it's got some ummph). Any ideas as to why the long delay? Also,
