It looks like you're using relatively new post-2.2.1 code but not the latest in trunk. The problem is due to a bug that has been fixed. The code is trying to run a command such as: cat "blah" >> "~/currentimage.txt" The ~ variable isn't translated properly if the path is in quotes: "~/currentimag
