[vdr] screen saver (black screen)

Hello, I left VDR overnigh and this morning there was a black screen, the remote didn´t help and I had to go and plug a mouse and move it to exit the blac k screen. How can I prevent this happening? I have removed all packages I could see related to screen savers. Running ubuntu 8.10 Also shortly

I'm in a half way stage with VDR and h264. I didn't want the multipro drivers, but wanted to get a few HD channels working with vdpau. I have VDR working with BBC HD almost, and Sky HD +24 and a few others, however, BBC doesn't seem to display properly, as well as having problems with the audio s
