I just published remoteosd-0.1.1 on http://vdr.schmirler.de. It fixes a crash
when accessing menus without title (reported by Manfred Heindl) and updates
the MainMenuHooks patch.
With the remoteosd plugin you can access the menu of a remote VDR. You will
need to install the following plugins:

I think the driver gets rather unstable when VDR often switches
channels and maybe hits transponders that don't carry any signal.

yes, if you set "EmergencyExit = 0" in the setup.conf file (or via osd
menu).
