Hi Mark,
i had the same problem.
the solution is to resize the video to one of the following resolutions:
352 x 288
480 × 576
544 × 576
take the one which is nearest to the original resolution of your stream.
these are resolutions which the hardware scaler of the FF accepts.

try playing the streams with vlc on your favorite desktop - if it works there,
it should also work with iptv plugin.

have a look here:

as far as i know, you have to change your channels.conf like this:
NasaTV Public;IPTV:1:IPTV|S0P0|EXT|iptvstream.sh|1:P:0:2:3:0:0:1:0:0:0
NasaTV Media;IPTV:2:IPTV|S0P0|EXT|iptvstream.sh|2:P:0:2:3:0:0:1:0:0:0
NasaTV Education;IPTV:3:IP
since you are using Bahn TV, i believe you are german.
i added a couple of lines to the vdr-wiki entry of the iptv plugin, maybe it is
worth checking:
http://vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Iptv-plugin
for the audio: you have installed w32codecs?

i would definitely go for the intel core2duo e4300. have a look here:

beside its low power consumption it offers also two cores, which might be handy.

Hi,
thanks for this great new plugin!
i tryed VLC to transcode on the fly some windows media streams which i want to
use with your iptv plugin.
it seems to work with some issues: transcoding takes about 15% of my cpu power
per stream. i would like to watch 5 different streams, this would take al
