It kind of depends on what security you are using. Some possibilities:
- You are using http/ssl and your (self-signed) certificate is
screwing up something. Find the certificate in keychain and delete it.
- You are using ssh and your keys are screwing up. Set up your ssh
keys again.

This is a known issue that can occur when you hide versions, either by
using the keyboard shortcut, or alt+clicking out the app while a sheet
is open.
