They are destructive to trout reds I will tell you that. Carp can live in just about any kind of water, including the clean cold water needed by trout and I have watched in horror as enormous carp clean out reds from recently spawned trout. I just don't like non-native species. Carp are invasive

Yes, I fish for carp. Everyone living near waters holding carp should try it. They can be very skittish, picky, and hard to hook. I've found that carp living in moving waters can be very strong. Carp in still waters are sometimes a bit of a disappointment. The real question is Do you
