Agree with Henk that movable pegs are not necessary unless one has a lot of time and wants to experiment with different tapers. My first board was temporary and just had 16 penny nails for pegs and used a drill to furl one leg at a time. Later I saw a setup where both legs are furled at the same

In actual practice, I never move my pegs around - I ‘make do’ with 7 ft furled sections using an ’11-5-3’ setup (resulting in a finished section with 22-16-10-8-6 strands of UNI 6/0 thread) for all my fishing, changing the tippet section to match the type of fishing. I did make an extension
