Hi, it is Fed Bach's Mayfly vise, great vise for the money. Got it today and I'm impressed. Excellent access at the hook's bend, smooth rotary function, and an excellent bobbin rest. I'll use it for the next swap, I don't expect it to replace my Regal (different concept), but nice for traveling,

My take on the Mayfly vise. I find that it is smooth, but as the hook holding assembly does not have a cam it would never be a go to vise as is. If I were designing this vise, the handle would be a bit longer so it would be easier to rotate and it would come with a simple cam type
