Thanks Tony thats what I had been using for my sheets, but on the stacked bodies, I wasnt having much luck with my scissors. [VFB] Re: Foam bodies and cutting them
Ian, I have not stacked foam so I don't know how well it would work. I have cut foam sheets from 1/16 to 1/2 and I really have done well with it. On my Froggies, I slice off a length of 1/8 foam 1/8 wide for the smaller frogs and 3/16 wide for the larger frogs. I get real clean cuts with a sharp single edge razor blade. Do you remember anything about the Frog swap several years ago. Never heard any more. I forget the persons name now but he was either from England or Ireland. Like Tony, I use a metal straight edge a razor knife. I used to have the same problem w/ the glue, or some of them would dissolve the foam. I started using the crafters glue that the gf had haven’t had a problem since. Plus, it stays more flexible. After the cement has become tacky, I carefully place the two pieces together, press them and hold them together for a few minutes. I then set them aside to dry for at least an hour.
