Nice, Jim - I enjoyed that slice of life. I have spent enough of my life on

Yes, yes, good god yes! I just viewed your video A Call to Lead.
Very nicely done. There is so much work to do on many levels.
There is a lot of vlogging/CJ work that needs to be recorded and
documented. Welcome and vlog on...

I know this might be basic but I'm trying to figure out how I can use
my camcorder as a webcam so I can join the vlogging meeting.
I have a panasonic gs150 and canon elura, they have dv and usb ports,
I installed the software with the usb drivers, but doesn't seem to work.
What am I missing
If you have a Mac then the Mac should already have drivers to play a
DV Camera as a webcam to Flash. On Windows you have to buy or find a
open source driver to convert the DV input into a webcam format that
Flash recognizes. I used a free one on windows for awhile, but it was
old and a bit buggy
You're too modest.

Well I would stay away from AVCHD as it is even more highly
compressed than HDV so will never be as good as HDV. Apple has
supported other JVC codecs before so we may hear about that at NAB.
