Depends on the type of video file, but if you're using QuickTime, I recommend a lil program called eZediaQTI (http://www.ezedia.com/products/eZediaQTI/index.html) It lets you create nice looking links and buttons. There's a free demo version that has enough functionality for most simple uses.
