comes out in XML.
He does NOT want to import it into another blog...but instead wants to
save the old posts as html or txt files.
Anyone have any experience saving a blog this way using the export
files that Blogger spits out?

to be done with the new canvas and video elements in HTML5. And
instead of the whole thing locked into one giant opaque, proprietary

pull down and link all relevant files -- probably would take a bit of
prodding and pushing to make it perfect. Of course it wouldn't be plain text

yes, I will host the videos on my site. She has very limited download
bandwidth available to her via her web hosting service. I was hoping to be
able to keep the xml playlist on my site as well so I can upload changes as
needed.
