My feed actually isn't sitting there unclaimed...the videos of mine that I
found in Veohville
were culled from other people's unclaimed feeds. They aggreed to remove them
individually
via their permalinks (they were gone in a day). I have no idea how it can be
prevented from
happening
I'm doing that. Yes, it is annoying.
I dont trust that they didnt know what they were doing and I dont
trust that they wont do it again when the stink has cleared.

Hello,If you had control of your web server you could check the referrer url, and if it came from Veoh, then just block it.(I've heard it's pretty easy to do with Apache.)See ya

And it's even for the spider not to
I have two feeds, Cirne (http://www.cirne.com/vlog) and Tech Alley
(http://techalley.cirne.com). I have claimed Cirne. I asked them to
remove Tech Alley, which they did. Simple.

My simple question...
My understanding is all it takes is an email to them to have yourself
removed. That takes all but 2 minutes. So...why havent you done that?
Yes. I agree that you shouldnt have to.

Well...actually Eric. My question was to those with feeds there that
are still unclaimed. With all the hoopla that happened yesterday, I am
curious why there are still unclaimed feeds.
Thanks

Well...I dont really see what they did as a problem. I am pretty sure
that their spidering or non-spidering does exactly what it was
intended to do and is working quite well. I dont see it as a renegade
process that's gone HAL on everyone. That's another discussion though.
Thanks for your
reminder... (not directed to anyone in particular)
remember RO? he put up videoblogging-universe.com and a few cool features for vloggers.
this is spidering and re-hosting 'previews' transcoded to flv or swf or mp4 (depends).
this is also how it is done right!
but how does this play into
Vlogdir hates me. I think you deleted my account or something.
