I've experimented with your popup and I like it very much. I used it
with QuickTime files. I seem to remember reading somewhere that you
had been thinking of a similar app for .swf files. Is that true?
Also, how hard would it be to change the size of the popup window? Is

If someone want to create the ultimate blingged-up version of Josh's pop-up I'll throw you 2 tix to the William Eggleston flick at Lincoln Center on 15 Feb @ 6:30p). We'll let Josh be the judge of the event, if he want to. I know everyone is busy, but this thread need to end (PLEASE!)

If you just do target=_blank then you aren't solving the issue... IE
does not like to play videos properly unless
the most relevant reason, as mentioned many times by josh, is Internet Explorers inability to handle progressive (fast start) download/playback of quicktime media in a browser unless the Quicktime player browser plugin (embed code) is used.
Also, opening a new window is clunkier than opening a

I am experimenting with modified lightbox.js, a modal window approach to media playback.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modal_windowIt doesnt work perfectly in some browsers like firefox, but i hope to make it so :)
