I've recently discovered WireImage™ Hollywood Podcast from WireImage
Video featuring the Hollywood-Entertainment Scene. They are using H.
264 at a 3 x 2 aspect ratio that scales up to a 1920 x 1200 monitor
from top to bottom leaving a small pair of black spaces on each SIDE
of the image 60
It's 540 x 360 custom H.264 I just figured out. But I still don't
know what the master format is.

Well for a such a professional, high-quality enterprise they sure could learn a few things about compressing their video. They're just using the export for iPod deal and it's messing up the aspect ratio of their video. You'd think that would be something they'd be concerned about.

Thanks Michael. I see you are right. I got them confused with another
movie I was playing with. I am thinking that 540 x 360 might be a max
to still work with the iPod. But I'm not convinced the bit rate needs
to be that high. I think you can go 256 + audio and still look good
under H.264.
