My name is Shawn Carpenter and I have been vlogging now for about 3
weeks. In those 3 weeks I have managed to put up 5 videos and today I
posted my first mobile video.
I decided to post all of my work over on Blip.tv. You can view my
show here http://loudtourtv.blip.tv/ or subscribe to my feed
Maybe if networks like MTV and Comedy Central put out more then 1 or 2
interesting shows instead of some of the crap they are trying to pass
off as TV more people would be interested in watching them on
television instead of posting and viewing their good clips online. If
the big network execs
and the vlogosphere.
Whoot!
Welcome.

This is something I would really like to know. For me I do a big show
once per week (5-7 minutes) and now I am doing a 30 second mobile
video each day (the quality isn't so hot though, but it is what it
is!) What I want to know is how often everyone puts up a new video or
how many you post per
My gmail is working fine. A few of my friends have been experiencing
lots of downtime. I had some issues about two weeks ago myself, but
things have been fine since. Perhaps the server that your account is
on is being upgraded or just took a dump tonight.

I am using Videotron in Canada.
OUr package includes Cable, Phone internet for $100 per month. We
have extra movie packages and a LD calling package added to the cable
and phone.
My high speed access is 7 Mbps
I get 20 GB of downloads every month and 10 GB of uploads

You were actually the first to welcome me just a few short weeks ago!
Reading the discussions can make my head spin at times since I am
fairly new to vlogging (5 weeks yesterday!) Thanks to the discussions
though I have been able to get my work syndicated on a number of
different feeds and

I made the switch about a month ago myself. I also upgraded to
Quicktime Pro. I have noticed that saving my files on iMovie gives me
a much higher resolution, but also a huge file size. With Quicktime
Pro I can compress the file size down without losing too much of the
resolution. I still post
I have been cross posting my videos over there from Veoh. They get
less views then on Veoh. They get far less then my videos over on
blip. I still use blip mainly because their encoding is second to
none and I want the best quality possible for posting to my blogs and
other places.

Well reading the law it looks like you can be in one place for up to
15 minutes before they can actually bust you. It also says that you
can't be within 100 feet of where you began filming. If I were in NYC
I would do a documentary called 101 feet. Bring a tape measure, stay
in one place for
. In fact I would say that the video is
ahead of the music industry in this trend.

My preferred resolution is 640 x 480 shot at 30fps. I can edit all
video formats, so there is no need for anyone to convert their footage
for me.

In case you haven't seen this yet, Moby is offering some of his music
to be used in films for free! Here is the excerpt from his site:
hi,
i'll keep this brief.
this portion of moby.com, 'film music', is for independent and
non-profit filmmakers, film students, and anyone in need of free music
manycam.com. The effects are quite a bit different
then camtwist, but a lot more fun especially when shooting live video
online for sites like blogtv, seesmic, ustream, mogulus, and operator 11.
