Thank Josh; if I remember
I just started encoding my own Flash for my vlog so I can ditch
YouTube. I also created my own flash player complete with a LOUDER
slider that goes up to 11. I may tweak it some more. I spent way too
much time working on it last weekend. But I gotta say that using
Sorrenson Squeeze gives much

Try to find the On2 Flix Exporter... that gives the best Flash Video
compression for Flash 8. There should be a way to get it for free
somehow. Search for it one Google.
However... while Flash is great on the web, i still think its
necessary to provide alternative formats that are more portable
I've searched around the list and can't find an answer to this: how did you make that sexy one-click subscribe to iTunes? I can figure out some of it, but get stuck at figuring out my own Podcast ID number.

Oh yes I totally agree. That's why I always enclude a Quicktime file
for the feed. Actually, I'm treating the flash version as my low
bandwidth option (and it's compatible back to Flash 6) so that
affords me the opportunity to encode the Quicktime versions at
higher bit rates than I would have
If you find your listing in the ITMS you can right click on it and
one of the options in the contextual menu will be copy itunes URL
or something like that. Just use this in a normal href link tag and
that's it. Easy cheesy.

Flash Video can be converted with various tools to other formats that
can be edited.
Its a little more diffcult and the quality of the end result looks
bad, but its do-able.

There are ways to use Flash to make it less easy to download.
Most people won't go to the trouble of screen recording but if
you're a video editor looking for footage to remix and decide you want
a certain clip, its certainly not difficult to screen capture. Its
sort of like the analog hole
Tis true. Any time you release something into the world in any format, Internet or analog you risk someone copying your work. The best defence is to not do anything or if you do never let anyone see it. But that's not really an option is it? So thats why we have a legal system. I suspect
