Yeah, MSNBC is doing the same thing with any news world wide. It's being treated by the newsdesk the same as any stringer or spec video (unsolicited news). If it's compelling enough they'll put it onthe air, but you'll have to fight for credit/compensation. And as soon as they use it, it

As I posted earlier, I have used the 3vix codec only. I have posted in both file formats .mov .mp4 for other reasons. There is no difference in how I made the files that itunes does not post (except for content, which I hope is not their issue) and the files that itunes does post. I have

Video tape is still the cheapest archive medium. I save all original (source) tapes, I make a comp reel of finished pieces and save that, and I make DVDs of the posted files (QT-MPEG4) and Avid bin. I use a firewire drive to archive this stuff to as I go and when it gets large, I burn DVDs

Reporters are getting attacked, and the very few who are operating downtown have private security (armed) escorts (at least one fair and balanced network does). The situation is the same as Los Angeles 4/28/92-5/2/92, looters are firing at cameras so as not to be photographed doing whatever,
