I searched my gmail outgoing folder, which I have never ever deleted
anything from. No message there to anyone at veoh.com, so clearly I've
never directly emailed to join that notification list.
Here is what I think happened (best scenario): someone subscribed to
this Yahoo! group
take me off your spam list as well, please. it's not my
responsibility to fix your company's mistake.

Spammers don't give you their email addresses and 24 hour phone numbers

they always tell me they feel that they are informing people about

Policy is as policy does. I got the mail too and I'll be rather
interested to learn which slimy address collection method was used. Did
you scrape the whole Yahoo group

It's quite obvious to me (as I track all emails by using unique
addresses for every different service) that these email addresses were
harvested directly to the video blogging group. And harvested they
were, there's no denying it, there's way to much correspondence
To be fair they already did that here in the past. Someone posting
their previous press release caused some moaning about press releases,
which caused several people connected to Veoh to appear, apologise,
and provide a link to the yahoo group for Veoh.
