No I just tried subscribing in itunes, it downloads that track but
then gives an error that its corrupt or incompatible. Im on a mac.
Other possibility is that as Im in Europe, the file is being
downloaded from a european archive.org mirror, and maybe the version

so I've redone The Chalets in QT7 using h.264 baseline 320x240 @480kbps
and AAC @128kbps, and renamed that to .m4v

The Chalets - Love Punch did not transfer to the ipod.
Im not sure why it didnt work, how did you encode that one? Perhaps
its main profile h264 not baseline profile h264? ipod only supports
baseline. How did you encode that one?

mpeg4 video (or h264) and AAC audio is the starting point for
compatibility, and then theres more devil in the detail but I'll leave
it at that for now.
