Re: [Videolib] Paramount ceases releasing movies on film
Hi, Chris, The big, commercial multiplexes are all digital. But independent theaters are either hybrid exhibitors or in the process of fundraising for their DCP equipment. An active community of 35mm exhibitors does exist for a number of reasons: the percentage of films available on DCP is very small and 35mm offers a different experience from digital (which is actually marketable and profitable). [Videolib] LibraryThing or goodreads
Hi All, This isn't really a video-specific question, but I was wondering if anyone is using goodreads or LibraryThing at your library? And if you're using LibraryThing, are you using their catalog enhancement features? Re: [Videolib] LibraryThing or goodreads
Matt, I use library thing to track book reviews for an academic journal, but have not used it for anything beyond that. The jerwood music library uses library thing too .. I follow their site. http://www.librarything.com/venue/32828/Jerwood-Library-of-the-Performing-Arts-Trinity-Laban-Conservatoire-of-Music-and-Dance But I'm not familiar with the enhancements. Could you tell me a bit more?
