OOPS it gets more fun. National Geographic Films folded in December. Their films were supposedly being handled by a company called Hyde Park Entertainment but their web site is pretty bare. Welcome to fun world of "who owns those rights". The game is simple a film is under copyright but you have to figure out who the current owner(s) is for specific rights. I think we crossed on this. Sony appears to own the home video rights and they be able to get you some info on who owns the PPR rights I would not hold my breath. Remember PPR rights are equivalent to non theatrical or theatrical rights not home video. Since Newmarket is gone I would try to contact National Geographic Films.
