Heh, I thought I was the only one with a SparcStation IPX that I wanted to
hook up to a Mac.
I messed around with this a couple of months, and it is possible, but you
need a serial cable that supports hardware-handshaking (IIRC). My standard
Mac Serial Cable doesn't do this, bu I have a Mac to

than
installing Open Transport

Have a IIcx running as a DNS. Installed OS 7.5.5. Was running well until

Seems to work OK while at the office, but by the time I return (later the

Hit the startup button and it boots with the usual not shutdown properly

Silly questions, perhaps, but since it says that it was not shut down

Do you have a cat, dog, child or Giant Rat of Sumatra that may have knocked

Checked your power supply?
Is this happening often, or only once or twice?

Is there such a thing as a floppy drive cleaning kit, one that actually

Sho' 'nuff. I just checked the link. They are indeed giving 4.3.3
away for free.
I also noticed that they have nothing on their site whatsoever,
Poking around the web a little more yielded a program called Mail Drop
which looked promising - unfortunately I can find it available only in
Spanish. (Yeah, I should probably use it to practice my Spanish, but...) :)
Anybody know of an English version?
